Privacy Policy

ChartSage ("the app", "we") is an educational AI technical-analysis tool published by Appers Systems. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do not collect. ChartSage has no sign-in and no user account — we do not build a personal profile of you.

1. What we collect

  • Device identifier (ANDROID_ID). We read your device's ANDROID_ID to meter free-tier usage and prevent abuse of the free allowance. It is sent with each analysis request so our service can track per-device credits. It is not linked to your name, email, or any account.
  • Purchase status. If you buy credits or a subscription, Google Play Billing reports the purchase so we can unlock your entitlement.
  • Diagnostics. Crash and basic usage analytics (Firebase / Crashlytics) to keep the app stable. These contain no chart content and no personal profile.

2. Your chart images

When you analyze a chart, the image is sent inline to our analysis Function, processed in memory, and discarded immediately after analysis. We do not store your chart images on any server — there is no Cloud Storage bucket and no cloud image storage of any kind. Only a small thumbnail is kept locally on your device for your history; it never leaves your phone.

3. What we store on our servers

The only server-side state tied to your device is your credit balance and entitlement (keyed to the device identifier above), written only by our backend. Your analysis history is stored only on your device — it is not synced to our servers, so it does not carry across devices or reinstalls.

4. Security & abuse prevention

Requests are attested with Firebase App Check to ensure they come from a genuine instance of the app. App Check is the only authorization gate — there is no sign-in, no account, and no personal profile behind it. We use the device identifier solely for fraud and abuse prevention and free-tier metering, as permitted for these purposes.

5. Third parties

  • AI model provider — processes the submitted chart image to generate the analysis. The image is used only to produce your result and is not retained by us.
  • Google Play Billing / RevenueCat — processes purchases and reports entitlement.
  • Google Firebase / Crashlytics — crash reporting and basic analytics.

6. This website

The sections above describe the ChartSage Android app. This section covers chartsage.apperssystems.com, the site you are reading now.

When you visit chartsage.apperssystems.com, we use Google Analytics (part of Firebase) to understand aggregate traffic — pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, and the site that referred you. This uses cookies, and IP addresses are anonymized. We use it only to see which pages are useful and improve them. It is not linked to your in-app data, is not used for advertising, and is never combined with the device identifier described in section 1 — the website and the app have no shared identifier.

The site collects nothing else. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no contact forms, and no newsletter. We do not sell or share this data. You can opt out through your browser's cookie settings or Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

7. Data retention

Chart images are discarded right after analysis. Credit/entitlement records persist while your device remains active in our system. On-device history and thumbnails are removed when you clear app data or uninstall the app.

8. Children

ChartSage is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Data deletion & your choices

Because there is no account, there is no profile to delete. To delete all app data, clear app storage in Android Settings or uninstall the app — on-device history and thumbnails are removed. 10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
